We're OUT of the house. Out of cold, rainy, dear old Seattle.
We drove a thousand miles south to San Francisco, then to Davis where we released both cars to our Davis kids (no more driving for us for awhile). It is colder here than Seattle was ... A reminder to us that our ultimate goal lies much further south.
All 5 of our kids got together for an awesome and memorable send-off dinner for us ... Gus and Erin, Lyndsey, Eli and Lydia. We're so lucky!!!! And the Lamb Souvlaki was to die for.
But saying goodbye to our kids just isn't a tear-jerker for us. I totally believe we'll see each other sooner than later.
Plus, we're only a Skype call away. (Sounds like a commercial.)
Another mission accomplished. Onward to visit our San Diego family.
